Music is an essential component of worship at Falls Baptist Church.  Hundreds of our members are involved every week in our music ministry.  Not only do our people minister on Sundays and Wednesday nights, but music training takes place throughout the week.  Most of the young people in our church take a musical instrument, and every young person has the opportunity to participate in a choir.

Psalm 40:3 says, “And he hath put a new song in my mouth, even praise unto our God: many shall see it, and fear, and shall trust in the Lord.  We love music, because God has given us a “new song.”  The goal of our music ministry is to turn people’s attention to our wonderful God.

Our church has many different opportunities to minister in music and be trained…

Adult Choir

This sixty-five voice choir ministers every Sunday morning and evening service.  The adult choir also prepares special programs and sings for all of our conferences.

Our church has scores of people involved in our orchestra program.  An orchestra plays in each service of our church.  Our main orchestra plays every Sunday morning, many times accompanying the adult choir.  This group also plays during special programs and conferences.  On Sunday and Wednesday night many church members, 5th grade and above, accompany the song service.

On Sunday afternoons at 4:30 p.m., our church members have the opportunity to join many different instrumental ensembles.  We have brass, string, and woodwind groups that regularly prepare to minister in church.

Each year, our church presents a dramatic Christmas program.  Throughout the year, programs occur during Easter, 4th of July, and other special days.

Falls Baptist Instrumental Program

About 250 lessons are given every week at our church.  Piano, string, brass, and woodwind lessons are offered to our members.  These lessons occur year round with special workshops during the summer and select times during the school year.
